Binge binge binge

In the lead up to Christmas, we seemed to have bought in a load of things we’d not have much of usually. Chocolates, mince pies, crisps, and cheese seemed to be hiding in every kitchen cupboard and drawer.

I feel some relief today to be back eating and exercising ‘normally’ after a few days of lounging around and overeating.

Take a day off

The good news is that while it takes months, even years, to establish healthy eating and exercise habits, having a couple of days off is not the end of the world.

But...

If you had only been looking forward to Christmas as an opportunity to break out of your diet and exercise routine you maybe need to rethink what you’re doing. After. all it’s supposed to be about you feeling healthier, fitter and stronger and that is as addictive as sugar when you get it right.

Feeling healthier, fitter and stronger can be as addictive as sugar when you get it right
